Excellent Fit

| I got the Mivizu case in Black and it looks amazing with my 3rd Generation IPOD Touch. Its a shell-like casing, not rubberized so it slides in and out of your pocket with ease and avoids the drag that is experienced with rubberized cases. The hard casing combined with an excellent fit is made possible by the way the case is constructed. It is in two parts, one that slides on from the top and the other that slides on from the bottom. They both snap together in the middle and it holds great so far. the line where they connect looks seamless and actually adds to the sleek appearance of the case. Also, the case is not just well fitted but very conforming as well which avoids the bulkiness experienced by other products such as candy-shell cases and rubberized cases. All buttons and ports are accessible with this case. However, two things to note: 1) the volume opening in the case is shaped from the bottom of the Ipod into the side, so if you're one of those people (like I am) that adjusts their volume with the thumb from the upper-outside portion of the Ipod, you will experience mild agitation with the port. This was easy for me to get use to and I can now comfortably change the volume without any issues. The actual volume control is in no way blocked, the port is just ideally placed for a more practical user (which I realized I was not until I got this case, because it makes more sense to use the port from the bottom... not to mention more ergonomic-friendly). #2) The charge/sync port at the bottom has plenty of space and is completely accessible to the charge/sync connectors...However, it is not big enough for more old-fashioned and universal connections like the old IPOD docks for mini speakers and things of that sort as you would need to take off the bottom part of the casing in order to connect it to older docks. However, that is not an issue for me and in no way a deal breaker. I give this case 5-stars. Excellent build, great protection, perfect fit, smooth and sleek look. It's everything I expect and more in a case. I hope you find this review helpful. Let me know if you have any other questions about aspects I may have missed mentioning. Enjoy! |

This is by far one of the most reliable cases that I have bought. I got this about a week ago, and this whole week I've been testing it out for my tech review blog, and I must say, it passes with a B+. The grip is very sturdy and feels like it won't fall out of your hand. As if it's an attachment to your hand. I have a rigorous workout plan, so I'm very worried about my iPod Touch 3G falling out of my hand or my pocket, but I don't have to worry no more. I've dropped it a couple of times and it hasn't even gotten a scratch! To be honest, I would do without the logo on the back, but that doesn't matter. It has a beautiful structure and the way they made it was pure customer satisfaction. I mean c'mon $7.95 for a $29.95 case?! You've got to be crazy to not buy this! I am a Griffin Technology kinda guy, but Mivizu just got one more fan. Oh and I am absolutely in love with the the fact that it's a hard rubber case! I thought it was rubber but it turned to be a hard rubber!

| I was a little skeptical about purchasing this case at first, but upon arrival I realized that it was exactly what I was looking for. The case has a great feeling to it and I love the color. The screen protector was a little frustrating to put on but I suppose that they all are. Other than that this case was worth the money, even if I bought it for list price I would definitely recommend it to a friend (If I had any). I hope this review was helpful to anybody considering purchasing this product. |

I was very pleasantly surprised when I received my new Mivizu case. Having tried one lousy product after another I had almost given up. I just wanted something affordable, that looked good and offered a some protection and feel. This is it.
I honestly can't say anything negative about the product. It is what it claims. It fits my brand new Touch (3g) perfectly, which is nice as a previous one left enough room to where I could actually hear it move in the case. Also, I LOVE that it has a tacky feel to it. I worried it might be too slick, but not at all. It feels like it is coated with a rubbery finish. I never feel like it is going to slip out of my hand, which , as those of you with Touch's know, they are not always easy to hold onto.
Another thing I was glad to see was that it was finished both inside and out. Many of the cheaper covers that look similar to this one are little more than a white plastic shell that has been spray painted, and not entirely so on the inside of the case. Maybe the inside won't be seen much but I prefer the finished look and it says something about the company that they are not trying to skip on paint or quality.
I hear that some have experienced issues with the two pieces coming apart too easily. That has not been the case with mine. It is very snug. I can see that it might come apart if it were dropped, but dropping it is not something I hope to do much.
I have the red one and it is awesome. It is a great deep, rich, metallic shade and looks great. Again, the finish seems to be fairly high quality as these things go. The extra screen protector it came with was a bonus. I didn't need it, but they are nice to have around.
Anyways, ultimately, about the best thing I could say about this product is that it turned out to be just what it claimed. That is saying a lot for these kinds of products, as those of you who have been shopping by trial and error can probably attest to. |

I really like this case. I was hesitant to do anything with my new iPod Touch for fear of dropping it or getting it scratched. However, since getting this case, I feel like it is much more protected. I'm still not sure I would want to drop it though. The case is very good looking (I got the green one) . It doesn't look cheap and I think the iPod looks better with this case than the silver back.
The case is hard plastic which is great for me. I was worried that the case would be a little "sticky" like an eraser so that it would be hard to slide in and out of a pocket. This case is completely smooth though and is very easy access from a pocket. One disadvantage to this though is that if you place it on the dashboard of you car, it will probably slide around when you turn unlike a stickier case (I haven't tested this). The case does not slip out of your hand though. Setting it on my open palm, I have to rotate my hand about 45 degrees from the horizontal before it slips. So, in this sense, it is still has very good grip.
The case comes in two pieces that slide together from the top and bottom of the iPod and lock behind the iPod (a protrusion on one half slides into a gap on the other). The lock is tight now but I am worried that it could become worn off and loose over time if the case it taken on and off a lot.
The case covers the entire back of the iPod and a very small portion of the front (only where the shiny silver is). There are gaps in the case for the volume buttons, the on/off button, headphone jack, and sync cable. These all work great except access to the volume is a little off. If you are holding it with your right hand you will be fine. If you are holding it with your left hand and try to access the volume from the side, it is difficult because the hard plastic interferes with where you want to press and you have to reach more towards the back to get a solid press.
The case came with a screen protector but I have not used it yet.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with this case. I was honestly expecting a much cheaper product for this low of a price. |
